Barry Cohen
Dr. Barry I. Cohen is a 1980 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, The Dental Society of Chester County and Delaware County, and The Academy of General Dentistry. He received the Academy of Dentistry’s prestigious Fellowship award. Dr. Cohen has practiced in the Havertown, Drexel Hill area since 1981 and is the Director of Continuing Education for the local dental society, where he has previously served on the Board of Governors. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International.
Dr. Cohen was born and raised in Gloversville, New York. He moved to the Philadelphia area in 1972 to attend the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate and has been in the area ever since. He is an active member of the community and participates in many community activities. Dr. Cohen is married and has three children. He is an avid skier and enjoys his time off with his family.

Each and every member of our staff attends continuing education courses to provide the most comprehensive care available.
Children’s Health Month:
Dr. Cohen and his staff are very busy during the month of February because of children’s dental health month. We host school children in our office and also visit several local pre-schools and elementary schools. These visits help make children more comfortable about visiting the dentist and more educated about taking care of their mouths. We see over 400 children during the month of February in the schools. In addition Dr. Cohen is a provider of dental care for Donated Dental Services, a humanitarian service to disabled, elderly, and medically-compromised people.
