Barry Cohen, DMD
Dr. Barry I. Cohen is a 1980 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, The Dental Society of Chester County and Delaware County, and The Academy of General Dentistry. He received the Academy of Dentistry’s prestigious Fellowship award. Dr. Cohen has practiced in the Havertown, Drexel Hill area since 1981 and is the Director of Continuing Education for the local dental society, where he has previously served on the Board of Governors. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International.
Dr. Cohen was born and raised in Gloversville, New York. He moved to the Philadelphia area in 1972 to attend the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate and has been in the area ever since. He is an active member of the community and participates in many community activities. Dr. Cohen is married and has three children. He is an avid skier and enjoys his time off with his family.
Susan Schlesinger, DMD
Dr. Susan D. Schlesinger, a Springfield PA dentist for the past 26 years, has proved to provide quality dental treatment with great pride and a gentle caring touch to patients of all ages – from small children to great grandparents.
Dr. Schlesinger is committed to cosmetics as well as the prevention of oral disease and tooth decay. Dr. Schlesinger’s individualized treatment leans heavily towards non-surgical treatment of periodontal disease wherever possible. “I feel my job is to let my patients know what dentistry has to offer and it is their job to pick the treatment that is right for them.”
Dr. Schlesinger graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Faculty of Arts and Sciences in 1981, from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1985 and completed an optional general practice residency at the Graduate Hospital affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1986. After Dr. Schlesinger’s training she held a position as an associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine for several years while in private practice.
